The methodology for the Third Party Safety Audit depends upon the purpose of the audit. Generally, most companies prefer to do the audit as per IS – 14489(1998) which compiles to the legislative requirements viz..9(2) of Rule 68(J) of Gujarat Factories Rules 1963(2004), Para 3 of section 7-A of The Factories Act – 1948 (1987) and Rule 10 (4 to 6) of MSIHC Rules, 1989(2000) under EPA-1986.
